Before I buy any reloading gear, I need to find a place to mount a press on. I'm leaning heavily towards Lee's Classic Turret press if that matters. I have an old desk, but it's not terribly sturdy. The legs have very slight wobble to them, though I can probably reinforce it if need be. The top is 3/4" wood, doesn't look like particle board but it aint oak either. My concern with this is that it won't be strong/stable enough to hold the pressure (could be overreacting) and that the press will be difficult to mount due there being drawers all underneath the top. It is possible to remove one of the top drawers which might allow me to bolt a press on there.
Having said all of that, is there an easier option (buy it). It's going in my room so it has to be able to fit through a 28" door. If it folds, good, if not, that's fine too. I'd rather not bolt anything to the floor or wall. Anyone have any good ideas? Building it myself is probably not the way to go, but I do have access to some basic power tools. If there's a good one to buy, all the better if it's not expensive.
Yes, I did a search, didn't turn up much.
