I picked up a 1000 of Berry's9mm 124gr Jacketed Hp's and need a load for Bullseye or Unique, as my manual doesn't have anything with those powders for 124 grain, just 125. I think 4.8gr was one of them.

I used to reload for my .45 with the .5 dipper and Bullseye, but with the unique I tried that once and they wouldn't cycle the action.

will be firing the ammo in a M&P and Beretta 92fs

Thanks.

I load my Berry's 124 plated bullets with 4.5gr Bullseye. I shoot them out of 2 pistols and a friend has tried them in his beretta with out any issues. No FTF or FTE in over 1000 rounds fired. I even tried some softer loads down to 4.0gr bullseye, but they were borderline when it came to cycling the pistols reliably.

Keep in mind I was using the plated bullets.

i load those bullets with 4.7 grains of unique in my 9mm trojan, but if i want my sub 2000 to feed reliably i have to load them with 5.3 grains, which is fairly hot and over the max load for a pistol

Hornady's newest manual has 5.0 of Unique for a 124gr bullet. Shows the XTP HP with an OAL of 1.060. My experience with HP bullets iis generally OAL at 1.075 - 1.085 works well. and I load 5 gr behind 124gr berry RN and they work great, chrony at around 1080 - 1130. I have loaded they to 5.4gr and they feel hard but no issues.
