Lyman is the best one to start with then I would advise to buy your favorite bullet manufacturer's bullets . I have over half a dozen for cross referencing...also lots of info online.

The reason the Lyman manual is better is because they don't have their own bullets or powder to sell you. The Lee manual is worth reading too.

I currently own eight manuals,and my only advice is to be aware that just because a load is listed in a manual,does not mean that the load is safe in your gun.

I agree with stubble jumper. My worst manual was barnes # 3 .When I contacted them they sent me 3 or 4 pages of corrections, loose leaves.
