I checked my last invoice from TNA and they charged 13% tax on my shipping charges even though I’m from AB. (I got charged 5% on the goods I purchased). When I called them on it, they said they always charge 13% on shipping because the order is originating from Ontario. This is the first time I’ve ever experienced this.

Yes that is a Canada Post thing for sure, likely other carriers… taxes collected on the shippers end because service is being provided to the shipper at origin. The shipper is the customer NOT the recipient.

availability is absolute crap on all components and we pay an arm+leg and sometimes a nut or 2 to get anything

we have to dig deep to find this stuff at all these days
