Reloading costs?

$58 a pound for powder? For .223? You are talking crazy!! Best deal for that is WC735 from Higginson's. I buy in 21
lb lots and pay for 20. They do this to Help offset shipping. I paid $17 a pound on the last shipment (2yrs ago). 21lbs usually lasts me 2 years and when I open this lot, I'll order another. I usually have three years worth on hand, that is, until I open the new lot number.

That's a big box o' fun ... Nice!

Thanks for all the good info guys!

Take a good look in the mirror before you Pi$$ on other members for misspelling. Punctuation is in the same family. Sorry, I am on a warpath this morning.

45 ACP is the cheapest thing I shoot, just a bit more expensive than 22 rimfire. I cast my boolits from free wheel weights, I have 5 shops that give them to me. I sitting at $65/1000 rounds of loaded 45 ACP. $0.04 primer and $0.025 for powder.

Where you guys getting 9mm plated bullets for .08? I'm paying $120 for 1000 in southern ontario.... costing closer to .19 per loaded round with used brass. Am I getting ripped off on projectiles?

I used to buy Frontier 9mm 124's from Marstar. I haven't bought there in a while, but would get a discount for buying over 10K at a time.

AIM Projectiles in Hamilton has 9mm 124's for $107/1000.

I don't count the cost of brass as I have enough to last a while.
