I recently have switched to JHP after having sucess with WC's. However, I think I need to adjust the OAL with JHP, as my Glock is having trouble cycling Curese's JHP's.

Sometimes they stove pipe, sometimes it light strikes, sometimes the HP gets caught on the feed ramp.

I found that I had to readjust my full length sizer. as it was not sizing all the way down the entire case. After adjust the sizer, I have not yet tested. Is anybody using these throught their G17, and can tell me what the OAL is. I need to narrow down a few things.
My Modern reloading book only shows OAL for FMJ.

I am using the blue winchester primers, with 5.8 Unique with 124gn of Curese JHP.

dont have info on 124gr , but 115gr is 1.050 and 125gr is 1.075
you probably have them a tad too long.
I have never heard of Curese's bullets before either, so perhaps I shouldnt have posted a reply as I cannot help you with specific information.
I would suggest going a bit less on the OAL and taper crimping. The only problem I have ever had with HP's was because they were too long.

Curese, as in John Parlins Custom Reloading Service out near Mission. I'm not sure what make it is. I will take the caliper and gage it...go shorter

Thanks
