I have been shooting and reloading for years, same calibers, some of the same guns and some new. That said I have reloaded and custom tailored for many others as well. I have never been consistently rewarded with my 220 swift, 22BR OR 22-250 and I need to be at max or as far as I can go on powder charge to get 3/8 inch groups. Am I expecting too much from these varmint calibers? 223, 308, 6.5 creed all shot from 600 to 875 meters, excellent success! same hole guns at the range. Quality of guns is consistent across board, scopes etc.... All handloads, every step taken... I was thinking temperature sensitivity, .5 grain for 10 deg? about 0 here today.... Maybe I can't make a 22-250 as repeatable as accurate as a 223... Should be able too... any thoughts?
