Just wondering if anybody on this board tried reloading for their M28-76 Mosin(I know there are a few kicking around) and will be so kind and share a few recipes? I did have very old and very limited supply of .30 185 gr Lapua HPBT's and .30 190 gr Berger VLD's and decided to have a little experiment. Of course, I understand that this is not a benchrest rifle so expectations weren't super high.
So, with 185gr Lapua I used 46.8 gr of V140(first pic) and with 190gr VLD(second pic) I went with 45 gr of the same powder. Fired at 100m using 4x32 Hensoldt Wetzlar scope. Unfortunately my chronograph decided to give up on me, so I couldn't get any velocities.
