Reloading for a Savage 99 in .284

Anyone have any reload data? - I'm having problems getting under 2" with 140's - wondering if anyone out there has some better stats for this rifle

This load holds 1 1/2" in my 99.
139g Hornady SST
56grs of H4350 = 2945fps
C.O.L. 2.830"

This is a max load in my rifle, 57grs were sticky to extract.

Yes I do for a 99C Savage .........Win brass........... 139gr Hornady SP 2.80" OAL to fit magazine..........49gr H-414.......Fed mag primer. Can use Win 760 as it is the same powder but start out 2 grains less and work up watching for pressure signs.As I recall 1/2 groups off the bags at 100 yards in my buddies gun.Harold
