I am loading 45 ACP and I loaded a dummy round at 1.250 O/A length. When I cycled it through my gun the bullet set back to 1.240. I put more crimp on the round but still did the same. What now??? I don't want to put too much crimp on.

There is another thread on this same issue already up! See what happens with no crimp and just pushing the bullet against your bench with your weight? A little setback is going to happen a little bit as is mentioned on the other thread. Crimping on a .45 acp is not meant to hold the bullet in place like with a roll crimp on a rifle bullet or revolver. Overcrimping will make your problems worse.
