hey guys, now that my 102 is all set up and ready to rock i want to roll out some ammo for it.
ill be reloading on the single stage press for now, maybe ill get the conversion for the 650 if i like where this goes.

my questions are:
1) i have varget, blc2, imr4985 and cfe223 at my disposal. i run the varget in my 308 bolt gun, and cfe223 for my ar15's i havent used the blc2 or 4895 yet. what powder do you recommend for a semi auto 308?

2) for the 102 i plan to use mostly my winchester and FGGM brass that i full length resize vs the norma brass in my bold gun. so since im using 308 brass vs 7.62 i dont need to drop loads from what the manual states correct?

3) im mostly looking for a load to run hornady 150gr fmjbt as a fun plinking round. as long as i can hit my gong to 300yd im fine with that. i do have about 500 sierra 165gr hpbt hunting pills that i hope to use as my go to hunting round for black tail here on vancouver island. assuming the 168gr load data will be compatable?

4) will the starting loads be sufficient to reliably cycle the action in the 308? im comfortable reloading for the semi 223 and my bolt gun etc but i hear all sorts of stories about how reloading for a 308 semi can be troublesome. all my brass is g2g in my dillon case gauge so i dont think small base dies will be an issue.

finally ive followed the mystic 102 reloading sticky but it seems to be dead in the water. do you have any pet loads you have worked up so far, preferably for the 150gr?

hope this isnt too long winded but i want to hit the range next week with some reloads vs factory ammo.
