Im looking at purchasing a Norinco AR-15 since the reviews of the latest rifles have been encouraging.

With this rifle having a 14.5" barrel and a 1/9" twist rate what would be the ideal bullet weight for accuracy?

What bullets would you use for accuracy and for general plinking?

At what range will you be shooting?
Any quality bullet to 69gr. will be accurate. If you are shooting back to longer ranges - 500m - the 69 SMK would be an excellent choice.
For plinking, bulk pack 55gr fmjs would likely be the cheapest bullets you could get.

It would definitely be at shorter ranges.
50m indoor and 200m outdoor.

Would the difference in group sizes be negligible at those ranges? ?

your best bet is to buy a few different bullet weights and just play around. Heavier bullets are more expensive so I usually stick with lighter stuff.
