reloading newbie

A friend and I are looking into starting reloading in September. We've rounded up most of the equipment so far, but we haven't gotten a sensor for the powder yet. Can anyone give me an idea of a reasonable price range for this? Should I be looking for a specific model or brand? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

What calibers are you planning to reload? A powder sensor is not a real naccesity for rifle loading on a single stage press.

We're planning to reload 9mm, 45ACP, 5.56NATO, 30.06 for an M1D, 303British for a No4T, and 7.62x54R for a M52 Hungarian. We want a sensor that ensures that the appropriate quantity of powder is being used in each round to ensure that they are safely loaded.

That will really only be a concern when loading the 9mm and .45. What press are you using?
