Reloading press which one is better

I Recently Went with a Hornady lnl Progressive and will likely buy a hornady lnl single stage soon as well so if you are thinking at some point of upping your production and buying a progressive i would go hornady so when you get the progressive and keep the single stage you can easily interchange dies with lock n load bushings plus from what ive seen they make excellent presses

Just my .02 cents

I didnt buy as a kit because if found that I didnt need all the components, and buying separately was a bit cheaper.

Just remember that you will have to buy die bushings for every die you plan to use (I use Lee carbide pistol dies), but once they are set up, they are really fast to change out and dont need adjustment each time. I couldnt even imagine adjusting dies each time I put them in a press, not to mention the time involved.

Dont have any other experience with any other press.

you don't HAVE to buy new bushings for each die, but as you said it makes life a hell of alot easier to just get bushings each time you get new dies.
 
What about the green armies ? Ill line up for Redding but Im not going to fight it.....I would lean heavily to the hornady kit if I were you.

About the Lee kit...yes you will probably upgrade a lot of it....I hear the scale leaves a lot to be desired but Ive never tried it. My rcbs 505 works well.

was wondering when somebody was going to mention the original! i use a rockchucker with lee dies and shell holder. pick what works for you and don't be too brand loyal.

.... RCBS for me ! But all the Major Brands produce a good Product ! .......I actually enjoy the Reloading, so the idea of using a Progressive set up, has just never had much of an appeal. However, if you are planning to shoot a Helluva lot and Reload to support the Habit, then a Progressive MAY be the way to go. .... Just don't Cheap out on Manuals, and keep your eye open, for used and older Editions ! .... It's a fun Hobby and one you can enjoy for years and still learn something new !! .... David K :)
 
LOOKs LIke I'm a LEE MAN

Well men looks like I'm a Lee man, price was too good, for 412.00 I got the Lee breech lock Challenger Kit, 3 sets of Lee dies, 3 brass trimmers, and 100 pcs of brass , 2 extra loading blocks 3 extra sets of breech lock bushings, shipped to my door with taxes, 412.00

Besides the 100 of F1-300 savages I have a ton of brass, so looks like I'll be busy for a while. Thanks for playing nice. Cheers.
