.... I'm currently, using the Sierra "Infinty" program (and associated reloading tables) , 'just wondering if anyone was using the RCBS "Reloader" program, and trying to find out how it compares to the "Infinity" and, if it's worth the high cost ? ...... David K.

I've got the Sierra set up and I thought that was expensive, I always refer to old manuals as the new editions dont have some hotter loads listed, you tend not to be able to do that with cd's. I'm on my 3rd Sierra program, 1st was no good for xp so I got an upgrade, 2nd I misplaced after losing the copies I made just in case so I am holding on to my latest!

I use infintiy.. and find it worth the price. I have many books, and found that my loads ( WSM) were not in there.. so the books became "library pieces". In addition to that, I have switched to useing sierra bullets, and it is nice to know the orer number of parts when calling the store ( telling them the bullet stock number is so easy.. cuts down on them ordering the wrong ammo for me).

I have the RCBS, but I am only marginally happy with it. In order to get any loading data from the disk you must be able to enter a load from a given page of what ever manual you are trying to obtain the data from. Well if I wanted to look at the book anyway, why would I of bought the software? I guess that way they are not in breach of copy right, but I pretty much only use it now for the ballistic program.
