I am fairly new to reloading. i have a Reichsrevolver, i plan on reloading using a 200gr RNFP projectile over 20-23grs of 2F BP or 3F pyrodex. does this sound right? i have a large amount of 2F BP will it still be okay to load that, just more to clean? or should i be using a 3F powder to get a cleaner ignition

Thx, Cheers!

I've been running 15 grains of 2F holy black ( I don't do pyrodex ), and I think .429, 240 grain bullets. I'm planning to drop down to 200 grain bullets as soon as I run out of the other, in my 1874 Italian (Glisenti) Service pistol.
I started with about 23 grains of 2F, but figured there's no sense beating up my antique :) Both the Glisenti and the Reichsrevolver are pretty rugged pistols, so I'm sure they'd handle it fine.

Will 15 grains 2F be enough for the bp to be compressed or should i add some tp for some light compression?
