Hi is there anything i should know about reloading this Cartridge as bullet Dia. and sizing the brass and how much power to use and type of powders work best theres not much info on loading data for this round if anybody could help me out it would be greatly appreciated thanks Rick..

I beleive you need to use .22 Hornet bullets, .223 diameter vs .224.

As for sizing, you most likely can simply lube and size .357 Mag brass.

I'm guessing you just bought yourself a Model 53?

Nope .222 dia bullets good luck finding those Hornady used to make them.....223 should work? try reloadersnest.com

There's data on Reloader's Nest under Handgun loads. One that gives 2290fps. Hornady lists one 40 grain .222" bullet. Actually made for the Jet. Finding 'em near you may be an issue. Shooter's Choice, in Waterloo, Ont. wants $29.95 per 100. They say they keep 'em in stock though. Bound to be somebody closer.
Everybody else makes .223" or .224" bullets. Uses a Number 6 RCBS shell holder. Same one as .38/.357.
Got the dies? Hornady, RCBS and Redding make 'em. Likely be a special order.
"...can simply lube and size .357 Mag brass..." Requires 2 case forming dies. Redding makes it. Run $63.99US each.

Thanks All I found a box of Remington Jet that Wholesalesports in Lethbridge had there last one lucky me i have brass and dies and got Hornady 40gr Jets (.222) on order so i should be good to go thanks again for the input Rick..
