Can you reload rimfire? Google suggest the general wisdom is NO however there are kits available to do so.

Would it be worth it knowing how cheap .22LR ammo is?

Better question, I want to make a really long range .22 "sniper rifle" what would be the best bullet/powder combination to get accuracy at long ranges? Would it make sense to pull the bullets on cheap .22LR cartridges and press in my own bullets?

I want to shoot 200+ yards with a .22, think if it as precision marksmanship on the cheap.

Don't bother. On a windless day, a good 22LR can hit a gopher at 200 yards some of the time. You have to aim about 4 feet above it though.

I shoot to 300 yards with subsonic match ammo.

You can get SK Standard Plus from Hirsch Precision for $51/brick... thats pretty cheap. It is what I currently use.

I don't see why you would need to reload a .22LR. I thought of doing it once, but it was to use .17 cal VMAX bullets in sabots.
