Reloading small primer .45 ACP Brass

Is there anything you need to know about reloading brass for the 45 ACP with small primers? Is it any different from reloading with large primers? My son bought a couple of hundred rounds and we would like to reload it assuming it is viable.

Anyone done it?

Load away, small pistol primer. Its fine. Keep it seperate from your large primer stuff, oh, and anyone who reloads around you will hate you, since now they have to sort all their range pickups.

45 Brass

Found a few of the primer pockets to be a little snug in small primer NT brass. Used the military primer pocket swager to correct the problem. Works fine now - but - like already said - sort your brass carefully. Got one small one in a batch of regular use brass. Big primers do not fit into small pocket. The bang can be very surprising!!!
