Hi guys,
My garage table is composite panel and too soft. I’m looking for a cheap but reliable alternative.

What kind of reloading stand/bench/riser do you recommend?

Don't know about cheap but I got a steel 6 foot table at Princess and it's rock solid I believe it was on sale for around $100.00 a few years back

Inline X2. Fast Toys north of the city sells them. Then you can remove it easily and not leave it on your bench if you choose. 2 press plates, spacer, mount and wall hanger mount for the 2nd press was around $200.

I bought a cheap little desk with shelves and everything is hollow not solid, so I just added a chunk of aluminum plate under it to bolt it down. Never had a problem so far.

I got an IF mount for all my presses. They’re really nice and solid but the bench has to solid also.

I’ve seen some home made mounts constructed of plywood, lumber and even I beams - all good solutions if you’re handy.

3/4" plywood top for your table is likely the cheapest and easiest option, and i definitely second the idea of buying Inline Fabrication goodies from Fast Toys.
If you're looking to upgrade work benches, the Husky work bench from HD is solid as hell and the legs are height adjustable.
