Any chance CanAmmo will start stocking reloading components? Be nice to have a BC distributor for products like Frontier CMJ's and reloading tools in general. Your more than fair shipping rates and customer service in general are attractions :)

I will ask John and see if he is interested.

I met with Berry's at SHOT, so we may carry them. They make a great tumbler.

For tools, what do you want? Lee. Redding...?

Actually, it's pretty easy using the RCBS Berdan decaping tool.

I've never been able to decap berdan with rcbs tool without damaging the fixed anvil in primer pocket. Does someone have a good printout of method to avoid anvil damage, or is this damage unimportant? thanx

I agree it would be nice to have someone in my home town that carries this type of stuff.
Redding,Forster and RCBS would be nice to have locally.

CHRIS;
Give us a call, we would be pleased to consider a major stocking dealer out west....

As you know shipping for individual orders is a killer.... However a few tons gets much more reasonable....

DEFINITELY like to see a local source for more reloading gear and in particular components.

I have pretty much all the machinery I need so personally I don't care what equipment you stock all that much...although ready access to Lee dies is kind of handy from time to time.

But components...a Vancouver primer source and bullet source would be great.

The only issue is (correct me if I'm wrong) Can Am is an internet only biz, so drive out and pickup may be out of the question. The advantages of no postage (bullets) and no hazmat fee (primers/powder) may be lost if DHL and Canada Post get involved...

Berdan decapping

Glycerin
Over the years I have heard of homemade hydraulic decapping setups. Basically the case gets supported in a die, filled with water to about halfway up the neck, then you hammer a bullet diameter rod down the neck and the primer pops out. In theory this sounds viable, but I have had mixed results depending on how severe the ammo manufacturer crimped the pocket. Good luck.
