I am looking for the best deals on powder and primers in the south eastern ontario area. I just learned that I am paying WAY TO MUCH for pistol powder and small pistol primers.

Who has the best prices for powder and primers?

That all depends which primers you want to buy.
I think the most hated store like Le baron has best deals on powder and primer if you don't mind to buy there.

Higginson for powder and primers, shipping is a problem with the primers. LeBaron as much as I hate to say it have good deals on primers. Higginson carries Hodgdon, IMR and soon to come Winchester as Hodgdon has there rights now. Also all Hornady and Lee products.

Lawry Shooting Sports Inc Best Prices

The absolute best prices I've seen for reloading supplies in Southern Ontario is Lawry Shooting Sports in Caledonia. ( a little West of Hamilton). They are one of the only suppliers of clay birds in Canada. Check them out on the web at www.lawryshootingsports.com. You will be surprised at their prices.

If you are ordering powder from Higginson's, the smart way is to order in bulk as he includes shipping (but not haz-mat) on 21# or more. Primers can be included in the order on the same haz-mat fee, but he does add about $4 per case for shipping.

Never once had a bad deal with Andrew.

Thanks for the replies... I will be checking out the recommended sources very soon.

More supplies for less money makes me one happy shooter!!

Reloading Supplies

I use Higginsons for large powder purchses, if you do not get at least 4 pounds the shipping eats up the savings. I usually try to pool orders with friends. I also find Bass pro a good source for single pound lots of powder, and for rifle primers as well. They do not stock pistol primers but they have a good selection of Hogdon powders, many of which are good for pistol loads.
