It seems that Cabelas and Wholesale are always out of stock when I ask about certain basic reloading tools. Does anyone else in Winnipeg handle reloading supplies?

The closest other place to buy reloading tools to Winnipeg is Cabela's in East Grand Forks ;) Just don't get any primers, bullets or powder, as the US doesn't allow the export of those items. Don't forget to stop in for lunch at Whitey's. Or you could drive the extra hour and hit up Scheels in Fargo, and have dinner at Paradiso.

I for one don't understand how Cabela's and WSS in Winnipeg are viable business. I don't even walk in the doors anymore because I am so sick of the standard response to all my questions:

No, its not it stock. No, its not in stock. No, its not in stock.

I think that is company policy for these two stores, of the two though, at least someone might acknowledge that you are at the counter at WSS. Cabela's is the worst store for stock and service, of every store I have ever shopped in during my 36 years on the planet, nobody else has come close to their perfect combo of no stock, staff that walks by you. I will never drop another penny at SIR.

I'm enjoying the fun I'm having with WSS Winnipeg.

Me and a couple of guys went in on a Dillion 650. It's sitting there ready to go with 10,000 primers and 10,000 bullets as I wait for 8lbs of titegroup that is supposedly coming in from Calgary.

It's been ordered twice since the middle of January.

I'm pretty sure their computer is showing stock that isn't there seeing as Higginson's told me that Titegroup has been on backorder for the last bunch of months and probably will be for the foreseeable future.

Still, I like going in once a week to check.

If you find a place you like with stock - PM me.
