Reloading Supplies

Thanks for all the feedback. Found some IMR 4320 and some Hodgdon H380 yesterday plus some Speer HP's. Spoke with the Speers distributer who advised things are pretty tough all over as alll your posts would suggest.

Hopefully the reference to visiting Chicago and stocking up was in jest.

Smokeless powder departing the US in the direction of Canada (that's called export) is US ITAR-controlled.
As such, shipping it by common carrier with all the ugly US State Derpt. paperwork is the normal standard, not hand-carrying it.

Transporting smokeless powder also invokes US DOT or Transport Canada regs which requires more paperwork and permits.

Pour it in your underwear and tell them you have a bad case of crabs if they stop you...LOL

Good day today.

What did you pay for the Varget?

Seriously lol?
33.99 - its on the label

Sorry long day.
The worst part was that I saw the price on the projectiles.
I have a chance to buy some at 34.95 but I feel bad because I bought my 8lb jug for $200.
I know that if I can't find any more ill be kicking myself for not buying it.

Why do folks not list their location, then ask if something is available around their neighborhood. If you are going to put it in a post later on why not just list your location.

I was in Cabela's on Thursday in Edmonton and they said they had a large shipment of Varget arrive that morning and were sold out by 1PM. They didn't know when they would be getting more. Take what you can get, as its only going to get harder.

Gotta bite the bullet sometimes. I paid more for the primers than I wanted to, but the were the last ones in any store I called,

I saw this one coming a long way off, so didn't get caught with shortages.

Several reloaders have asked me to part with some of my stock.
It isn't going to happen! :D

Regards, Eagleye.
