title say it all, where do you buy reloading supply in Montreal, I'v been a couple of time to Le Baron, but I was under the impression they don't have a lot of it and it's appear to me as relatively expensive, same with Dante.

Alternatively anyone in the area wouldn't mind showing me a reloading session. I but would like to see and undestrand first handed what it take etc... I mean I bought the book and watched you tube video, but nothing first hand experience is golden.

I am more looking into shotshell reloading (well I own a shotgun but have yet to buy a rifle) but I am interested in rifle as well as I plan on buying one eventually.

Thanks.

I know some guys in Northern NB bought a huge amount of product from Frank at CRAFM. Might be best to try there.

Frank and his gang at CRAFM are great guys, they always have a great selection of reloading components. The prices are mid to upper range. They always had primers, even when no one else seemed to have them in stock a few months back, but at $36-$43, not great but ok when you have no choice.

Dante is popular, but always busy and their prices tend to be on the upper end of the range. Up to 20-25% more than the cheapest....

....which is Le Baron, yes they are the cheapest ( according to their extensive catalog ) but they are perpetually and hopelessly out of stock 80% of the time. This past autumn / winter, I called several times a week over 4 months or so, and they were out of primers that whole time. They list CCI primers for $23 or so ( 1000 ) , but what good is that if they never have them?? These guys are always backordered, even on insignificant items like plastic reloading cases.

Higginson is inexpensive on powder, reasonable on everything else. If you are going to drive 200km roundtrip from Mtl, you better make it worth your while. Great stock though, but call to order in advance of your visit. This is not a place to browse, rather it is like a drive by window

I have never met Rene at X-reload, but will check him out

higginson's will take the time to help you out and tell you what you need.
it is better to call ahead and let them prepare your order in advance.
they specialize i LEE equipment and hornady bullets but have other stuff too.
if you think it's expensive to drive there, just remember gas is 96.5 cents a litre compared to 109 in good 'ole MTL. thanks to our municipal and provincial gov'ts. upping the tax on gas...

The trick is to go there with a near-empty gas tank, this way the savings on a complete fill up subsidizes the 200 kms,

why didn't I think of that :)

There is also Londero Sports in Saint Jean sur Richelieu, he has a good price for powder. Last time I think I paid $27 for 1lb. of Varget. He also carries Hornady and Berger Bullets, and RCBS equipment.

Londero Sports is 10min from my home, sometimes I like them, often I loath them. You have to know your pricing before shopping there, they can be right on the money or way too high. Plus that tiny little runt of a kid behind the firearms counter often deserves a good slap in the chops......man can that kid ever be rude.

I said it once and I'll say it again, X-reload is all you need.

Send him an email and get a quote, And you can all thank me later.
