Welcome to the other side of the world. Getting a license hear is probably gonna alot easier then Australia I imagine and I think we got a little more selection. Id be interested in a comparison of the to systems from someone who has experience both wouldn't mind some updates.

Welcome. Move to Vancouver. Winter is no so bad here. Wet but fairly warm. Most of Whistler BC (back to the cold) seems to be staffed by Australians.
 
Well, Welcome to North America. You should fine improved Gun Laws as for the climate I'll let those who have to endure speak of it. I do work with a Canadian. He says he came to Texas because it was warmest palce he could get a job. He is a bit sensative to the cold: he wears a coat or sweater when it is 24C/75F outside.
