Hey Cancer, I just had my 30" fixed full choke 2 3/4" Rem 1100 barrel chopped to 21" and threaded for RemChoke last week. If the barrel meets minimum thickness at chopping site, then it is possible.cancer said:What's his budget like? 1100 barrels aren't usually too expensive. I'd be inclined to just buy a new one at the gun store. That way he'll still be able to use screw in chokes that come standard with new barrels. If you cut the barrel down 10" you'll be stuck with cylinder bore all the time.
