I have a Rem. 3200 Special Trap with 30" barrels choked Full/Full. I love the gun. In fact so much that I've been trying to shoot some Sporting CLays with it aswell as trap. The only problem is the POI of the bottom barrel is quite a bit higher than the top makeing it hard for a second shot on following pairs or doubles. I've often said I could wouldnt mind the bottom barrel to have a lower POI for trap aswell. I've been told that I can switch the barrel hanger to one from a skeet or field gun and lower the POI so it's the same as the top or very close to it. Has anyone done this and how much of a difference does it make? Right now my top barrel shoots about 70/30 and the bottom 90/10 or a little higher. Also where abouts can I get a hanger? Up here parts seem hard to find so I'm thinking I'll have to get it out of the US somewhere.

Thanks Tim

If Remington can't help you with a barrel hanger then try Krieghoff. The Model 32/K80 use a similar system and different sizes of barrel spacers are available. I don't know if they are precisely compatible with the Remington 3200 and some minor fitting might be required.

As for which size to get I can't help there. When I owned a Krieghoff Model 32 the POI was right were I wanted it.

I actualy checked out the Kreighoff site about this. They have I think 8 different hangers. Each one changes the POI 2-2 1/2" at 35yrds. They look to be shorter than the one on my 3200 which would make it shoot higher. It might just be they way they look on the site though. But a K-80 hanger swap was something I had thought about.
