Rem 660 mag spacer

Good day everyone: i recently picked up a rem 660 in .222 and the mag spacer is missing. Will a mag spacer from a m7 .222 work?

Any info is greatly appreciated.

The 600/660, 7 and 700 short mag liners will all fit. However most I have seen had the spacer tack welded in place. You could buy a new mag with the liner installed or it's a fairly common mod to remove the spacer and install your own to give you more mag space than the factory spacer allowed.
