Rem 7 1/2 primers

Is there no love for these primers? The Rem 7 1/2 small rifle bench rest primer. Seems like they are always on sale.

My favorite primer personally... I wish I could find them on sale, just finding them can be a bit difficult.

I have been mulling the idea of switching from CCI benchrest to these Remingtons... x reload does have them on sale frequently.

How are they for reducing extreme spreads ?
I'm just too lazy to develop new loads.

I've used a few boxes of the 7 1/2 and the 9 1/2 Remington primers and really liked them.
I haven't seen them around for a while.

If on sale, stock up.

Unlike gold, they never go down in value.

I have read from many sources that the 7.5 is one of if not the hottest SR primer out there. It has brought spreads down in my .454 loads significantly and seems to do very well with everything I use it in.

Just did. Got 5000. $34.90/1000. X-reload has them on sale. Seems cheap for primers, let alone benchrest. They store easier than the Federals too.

Just my luck, my favorite primer goes on sale less than two weeks after I buy a ####load of CCI 450 that were more expensive.

Depends on powder. I use CCI for stick and Rem for ball.
