rem 700 adl stock

Will a rem 700 bdl stock fit an older rem 700 adl rifle? I have a line on a rem 700 adl but am not to fussy on the stock. Was wondering if I could use a bdl stock on it. Are there any nicer after market wood stocks available for the adl's? Thanks.

Yes an ADL will fit into a BDL stock...... the difference is in the bottom metal... which you would have to obtain....

The bottom metal isn't hard to come by, most gunsmiths who have ever replaced the long action BDL units with Kwik-Klip units have some nice used BDL trigger guard assemblies on hand. Short BDL trigger guard assemblies are also available.

Aftermarket stocks are also made for the ADL.
