Rem 700 barrel contours ???

Can anyone tell me how much different a Mountian Rifle contour is as compared to a regular sporter contour as to how much of a gap in the barrel channels....I am in need of a stock for a mountian rifle detach mag and am having a heckuva a time finding one that will work....thanks for any help

I am not sure if I am following right here but................if you are wondering if standard stock will fit a mountain rifle barrel, then you will have no problem. The gap turns out to be only a very slight difference.................in fact it may just be better as it will be totally free floated.

Thank you sir.....exactly what i was looking for.....I just wasn't sure and I didn't want to have some big honkin' barrel gap in the barrel channel..I know a factory stock will fit the Mtn rifle barrel,just wan't exactly sure how big of space it would leave..I'm too fussy that way i guess...LOL
