For any Rem. 600 owners out there you can rebarrel with any suitable Rem. 700 short action barrel, it will thread on 180 degrees out of rotation ie. front sight facing ground as you fire the rifle, the gunsmith can readily put it in rotation if the barrel has sights or you want the lettering on the barrel correct, for a clean barrel out of rotation is fine and one less step.
I have 1 switch barrel .350 / 6.5 Rem. barrel on a 600 where the 6.5 barrel was a 24" 700 barrel. Also have a .308 ,700 barrel on a 600 for which I am looking for a Rem. 700 barrel in .260 Rem. preferably 700 mtn. rifle contour stainless unfired but will consider any, or rebarrel to a 6.5 Grendel anyone chambering for this?

My guess would be no. However, easy enough to make one by using a 6BR reamer then throating for the 6.5. Most smiths use removable pilot reamers so they can put a 6mm reamer into a 6.5 bore.

If you want, you can also run the reamer a bit deeper to push the shoulder forward. I think the Grendel has the shoulder on the BR case moved forward.
