The serial number puts it at about 1988-90

Referring to the two letter date code described above Remington started over at A in 1980 using all letters of the alphabet to Z in 2005

The 700 was introduced in 1962 when the year code was J. They had skipped I, and then skipped O, Q and V. Then from '76 to '79 they used I, O, Q and V, starting over at A in 1980.

On the barrel there is ony one letter: H
so it'll be a 2012 made ? Im a bit surprised, the rifle looks way older that that.
Spoke with a friend who suggest the years 1987. Is it a good quality build for a 700BDL ?
thanks
