I have a 700 LTR in 223 and would like to replace the bottom metal with a detachable mag setup. I'm not that familiar with these so would like to hear the various options for same. Not looking for large capacity just want a mag setup for coyote hunting and this is an itch I've decided to scratch.

Options?
Cost?
Any drop-in setups that do not require inletting/gunsmith?

I didn't think Kwik Klip was available for .223.

Atlasworx from Australia makes bottom metal $185.00 (almost par with Cdn). Pick up a AICS 10 round magazine for about $40.00 and you're good.

This is where I got mine. I just inletted it into my hs stock with a Dremel. Not the pro job that others have done, but it was simple enough. Just remove small amounts of material at a time and check fit and how it feeds. Don't let the Aus part spook you, shipping was actually super fast and it's great quality.

I bought a used Atlasworx for a 700, but haven't fitted it yet. I did buy one of their CZ452 bottom metal from them. As mentioned, fast shipping and great quality.

I would just buy a HS Precision kit, that way you keep your over all resell value, and if you change things, it wont be a pain in the ass to re-do.
