Rem 700 factory magazine disassembly

Can you take apart the detachable magazine for a Remington 700? The actual magazine with the two tabs you depress on the sides. I don’t see any obvious ways and Google hasn’t been of any help.

I don't have one of these detachable magazines any more but as I remember on my 700 DM you pushed down on the follower and rotated it in the magazine to remove it. The follower just sits on the spring.

That is correct, I finally figured it out. Thanks. The floor plate appears to be spot welded to the body and not removable.
