So I have been single loading my rounds to this point as they were loaded long. Decided to shorten them up and try them from the mag. I have a Rem 700 5R 308 it is mounted in a Cadex chassis with a Cadex mag. All installed by a reputable company. Just to rule out the fact that I did something wrong with the install. I shortened the rounds to 2.800" I am having feeding issues. The tip of the round gets caught under the feed ramp on the action when cycling rounds through. When this happens if I touch the mag and wiggle it around the round pops up onto the feed ramp. Any ideas as to what to do to fix this? I haven't tried anything yet just discovered this today.

This. I had same issues when I bought new magazines. A whole lot of swearing and sweating (almost 30C), until I shoved the case between the feed lips and twisted up. In that fit of rage, I got it adjusted properly and was happy ever after.
