Rem 700 M40 Stocks?

Hi Guys,

I just sold my Rem. 700 TWS, and the guy wants to change that awful synth. stock that came with it, to a Wood M40 style stock.

Do you guys know a retailer in Canada or anywhere I susspose, that would carry replacment stocks like that.

So: Remington 700 M40 style replacment stock.

as well, a like on how to configure a internal mag 700 into a mag fed one?

I got the v-bull mag conversion put into my rem 700 by ATR recently.

Sniper Central did a build on an original M40 style before Remington did the Commemorative model, I would check with Mel there he will have a source.

The company that apparently made the wood stocks for the M40 clones they did up on Sniper Central (SC) were made by a company called Accurate Innovations. IIRC the ones they produced had an alluminum bedding block built into them. If you call them and ask for the M40 stock that they produced for SC, they should still have the program to make one up... Hope this helps.

if you want to go the real M40 look then it wold remain an internal mag ( BDL).
You can pick up a used ADL stock and inlet for a BDL and remove the checkering for a cheaper alternative to the Acc inovations stock ( if they still have them)

It is alot of work to get it right, and while they are fun to shoot they cannot compete with the stuff that folks are running in comps now.
