Fresh snow, a remington and a wt buck! What dreams are made of.

tremendous value in these little guns. All shoot under an inch with the 270 shooting much better.

I'm digging that DM in 260 rem.

Nice setup!

257 Roberts and a LSS 260. Both with talleys and 2.5-8 leupolds.

I put the 260 into the new style factory mtn rifle stock. Not sure I really like it and might put the laminate back on - it looks good though

Nice rifle, that 257. I wanted one of those real bad about 15yrs ago. No luck finding one, so I asked Bevan King to rebarrel a MR in 270 for me.
BBl is stainless and the stock has since been switched to a TI take-off. I'd like to have a MR in 308.

Yes they are very hard to find, even in the states where I got this one. I can't afford to sell it, lol but it was cheaper than rebarelling for sure. These 2 are for my boys when they get a bit bigger, good news is I get to play with them for a bit!

I keep an eye out for 700's in odd or discontinued chamberings as they seem to be good at dropping stuff steady.

I did find one at the time that was in Ontario. I bugged the old guy for a while and finally gave up, so a re-barrel was the only option.

The only thing I don't like about them was the short action. I like having the 3" OAL option in mine.
