Rem 700 sa. Looking for a chassis recommendation / experience

CADEX DEFENCE LITE STRIKE CHASSIS is one of the better ones from what I heard, but it's also very pricey, i think they are going for 2100$ at SFRC.
I have an archangel on my 308 Short action, works well too if you are looking for something cheaper.

Big fan of the LSS XL and HS3 here myself. I have 1 of each (Sav and Rem) and they're great $ for $ chassis systems. My .02$

My .223 700SA is nestled inside a Cadex Field Open Top chassis.

Have you tried the chassis against a barricade? Does it give you much to lean into it with?

Hi yall got a 700 223. Sps. Looking to add a chassis kit. Like a tac 21 mdt. Anyone have any experience with them? Are there other cheaper options that are as good?

Thanks

I'm a huge fan of the Cadex chassis:

It's not light, but not impossible to carry around while going for a hike. Solid construction, roller-beddding system (no need to bed your rifle, though some will argue it's still necessary), completely free-floats the barrel, built-in rail system, folding butt stock (on some models) over the bolt handle so you don't waste space, easy access to the bolt (not captured like some chassis), easy access to the trigger if you need to adjust it (don't need to completely disassemble the entire chassis), and tool-less adjustments for comb and length of pull (on some models).

However, if you don't want to spend more than $500 or so, then I hear pretty good things about the Magpul stocks for Remington actions. I have one one for my 10/22 and I love it.

I don't do prs. But the bipod can have a lot of pressure put onto it. I guess you're asking whether the chassis has flex. In a word, no.

I was more wondering, with the angles on the bottom of the chassis, whether it would slide up when leaning against a barricade.
It's an sweet looking chassis.
