Rem 700 Scope Base Screws

Can anyone please tell the the length of the 6-48tpi screws for securing the base?

The thickness of the base plus the thickness of the receiver, minus 0.05". - dan

Thanks, because what bugs me is Mounts Plus and Ken Farrell sell screws but only one size is listed.

It is very normal to grind long screws to fit. You can't make short screws longer though...
