most places will sell them for $750+tax
if its NIB and unfired, it's worth about 95% of new before tax ($715ish)
if fired, but in very good to mint shape, 90% of new..........($675)
used but in very good shape about 75% of new ($560ish)

I belive the OP has a SPS Tactical.... Not a standard SPS......
IMO I wouldn't pay more than $650 for a used (cause that is what yours is..... used) SPS Tactical, if it has Glass..... then a bit more than that.
I usually drop 25% off new price if a used item is in Excellent shape..... If there is some blueing worn off or scratches and what not, I drop it to 65% of new values. This is assuming the rifle is with-in 2 years of the date of Manufacture.......
