rem 700 trigger problem

Hi,
need your expertise to solve this problem:

Recently I have a problem with the rem 700 trigger,hope you can guide me solve it :
1) close the bolt,sometimes it locked,sometimes not.
2) when it locked,trigger pull would be normal or heavy
3) put safety on,close the bolt,it cocked,release safety and ok to fire,trigger pull is normal.

any idea?

Sounds like a dirty trigger to me. Dump some lighter fluid into it over a trash can with a sheet on paper in the bottom. You will be able to see the crud that comes out.
No need to lube the trigger, the lighter fluid will do the trick.

I took it out last night,looks like the trigger pull screw and the other screw is lose,I reset all the setting again,everything works find now.
I'll take your advice to clean out the trigger too.
