rem 700V bullet weight?

I am just curious to know what kind of bullet does it like best, so far for my part it look to like a bit more 180gr bullet.

What calibre? There are several M700's with a 'V'. None with just a 'V'.

In my 700P with 147 gr portugese I get .7 and with hornady 168 bthp .5

Remmys in 308 with 1:12 twist prefer the 168 gr bullets.

If punching paper I'd suggest anything from a 155 SMK up to a 175 SMK. 168's definitely seem to work well in the remingtons 12 twist barrels and I've had accurate loads using both the sierras and hornady a-maxes in this weight. I'm running some 175's right now though that are working excelent as well.

Well I guess that I need to try the 165's bullet. I wil get some as soon as I can, whit luck I will be shooting a box of those tomorow

i have a box of 185 berger VLD's right on the box it has(for 1 in 12" twist or faster).have to try them in the sps tactical 308 i have comeing, and give a range report.
