Rem 7400 Barrel Nut Wrench - Availability in Canada?

I'm looking for a Barrel Nut Wrench for a Remington 7400 / 742. Brownells has one listed (Menck 742 Wrench
Mfr Part: R7400) but wont ship it outside of USA. I asked to have it shipped to my US mailbox but no deal as well.

Anyone have a lead on one in Canada?

Just find the closest open end wrench that is slightly smaller than the barrel nut, open up the size to fit the nut with a small grinder . You can even file it slightly bigger to fit just go slowly and check often. I was able to use an adjustable wrench but is a little tricky to keep the right tension on the nut.

All I ever used is an adjustable wrench screwed on tight.

Buy it directly from Menck... I asked Brownell's why it was on a no ship list... their reply - Sorry, it is due to an agreement we have with the manufacturer. He would like customer to get the product direct from them or a hub close to you.

Thanks for finding out why they won't ship it. I tracked down Thomas Menck's contact details and will call him on Monday.

I couldn't get one either. I tried grinding down a wrench but that's hit or miss. What I did was set an adjustable wrench so that you had to tap it onto the nut and got it that way.
