Rem 870 LW 20 Gauge Question

Just wondering if this engraving of a pheasant on my stock is factory carving .I have looked at quite a few pics but have not come across any with this carving .

Still it does add rather than detract from the gun's appearance.

Some one with some skill added that .and did a very nice job . It most certainly adds to the gun .
