Rem 870 mag extention

Hello,
I have had trouble removing the factory mag extension crown from my 870 in order to remove the barrel for cleaning.
Does anyone have a trick to remove it ?

Isn't it just a threaded connection, like the regular end cap? I've never seen a FACTORY extension, but my +1 Wilson Combat is just threaded on like normal.

Is yours just stuck? Or rusted on? If so, a little liquid wrench and/or heat should loosen it up..

Well on this shotgun the mag extension is screwed on a mag crown (not shure it's the right name) wich is fixed to the standard mag.
Not sure if the crown is screwed on or glued or what ever but I would like to remove it in order to clean the barrel..
