Rem 870 Sling Configurations

Hi,

I have an 18.5'' 870 with a sling plate on the mag extension. I don't have a rear mount yet, but what is a good all round 2 point configuration? I'm not a fan of single points or 3 points.

I have a blue force gear vcas padded sling from one shot tactical that works awesome. I use the buttstock adaptor with it.

Do you need a rear sling stud to secure the adaptor?

No, I took mine right off. The buttstock adaptor goes around the buttstock and tightens on. I found the rear swivel just got in the way (hogue 12" sock) so I removed it.

Do all the Vickers use plastic buckles or are there options to use it with D-rings?
