Do these guns have ejection issues? Looking at buying one, cycled 2 snap caps thru the gun, the first snap cap ejected ok , second snap cap did not eject from ejection port got hung up and dropped down ward in the ejection port, not out wards like the first one. I made sure I was working the action hard so the shell would eject. The barrel on the gun was a 28 inches. I put a smooth bore slug barrel on the gun and it ejected the snap caps fine The gun is in VG condition.

Ejection problems are rare and usually easily fixed with 870's.

Snap caps are just that snap caps, there not intended to function through the action. Using them is not a true assessment of the functionality of the action.

Snap caps are more suspect, and people tend to pump the action a little too gently when testing it out. Rack it like you're facing down a lynch mob

I thought it may also be the Snap Caps just wanted to hear other opinions. I have 2 12G 870 Wingmasters from the 70's they work.
