I need to punch out the two pins that go through the trigger group on my reciever to accommodate a scope mount.Is there anything I should be aware of when these come out?i.e will my trigger assembly shift considerably.
 
You won't have a problem. The pins hold the trigger assembly into the receiver and it's a self contained assembly. Since the trigger assembly will be out, give it a good cleaning and a very light oiling of the hammer and sear.

If it's the two pins I'm thinking about jigger, there should be no problem at all. I take mine out every time I clean my gun. It's just the two pins that hold the trigger group in that you're talking about, is it not? A light tap with a small punch and you can pull them right out by hand.:)
 
Yup those are the pins and thanks for the advice folks.Cleaning the trigger group while it's out is a good idea,I know I wouldn't have thought of it.
